Requirements, License and Permits

· Whitetail Hunting requires Annual Hunting License and Deer Permit. Available at:

· Turkey Hunting requires Annual Hunting License and Turkey Permit

· If you were born before after January 1, 1975 you must have a valid hunters education card. (There is a one-time temporary hunters education exemption permit available online @ Fw.ky.gov for $5.00. It is good for one year from purchase date.)

· Solid hunter orange must be worn at all times during rifle and muzzleloader season

* As long as license is purchased before 16^th birthday, it’s valid thru February 28.
